I have never done this and my current lover knows this and is insistent that he be the first. I'm thinking about it any ideas how to make it more pleasurable the 1st time?
 
really depends on the girl again in my experience every girl that has been accepting of it even for the first time has really loved it and gone OFF but you do get the others that wont even think about going there. I have never really gone in expecting it to happen its just been a "in the moment" kind of thing.

For the OP, I haven't done it, but from what I read it is a lot more about technique. You don't bash away like you might in her vag, as you can do serious damage. Also the woman need to resist the urge to pucker. You would be best starting with some finger insertion etc, and "warming her up" first with some normal sex. Maybe one of those long thin sex toys to determine if she might enjoy it.

I don't know if this is true, but I did read that you could gauge someone's willingness by rubbing their anus during sex, and if they puckered up, they were resistant. I think many people would say "no" outright with straight forward question, until they have some experience.

I guess by reading the posts that i have been quite lucky through my life and have had gf's who were willing, my wife now also is open (pardon the pun) to it now and then. I think the best way to get to anal sex is to start very slow introducing a finger first while in the passion of 'normal' sex , then maybe introduce small dildo etc . From my own personal experience I have found that the majority of my partners were quite open minded when it came to some form of anal stimulation. Getting in takes time and communication and lots of lube! But, generally that isn't why I've decided to stop - its the after effects (usually the next day) that are a killer! Unfortunately I think that the following is true: things are meant to go OUT that hole not IN. :(

personally never tried anal ,giving or receiving but the thought is always there.you mention, "its the after affects(usually the next day) that are a killer". What are the after effects??
