Ok I can answer that question. Deep fake is a computer software that can make any one person say and do
Without the real person as it works by articulating one single photograph of any famous person into their real selfs but the computer is doing the computations to make it look completely real.
Puppeteer is another but you can animate objects that in real life can't animate as Puppeteer is a computer program that makes things do stuff that's not possible in real life. I was using another program that I can't remember the name of. As it would change your original photo of yourself if you are male . As this program could show what you look like if you were to transition your male body into a woman as I have been playing around with that. My profile picture on whatsapp is me but as me as a woman.
I have had many ask who is that person in my profile picture and I say it's a AI trans girl of myself as if I did transition I will know what I would look like before doing it. Which is handy. And meshroom makes any 3d object in the real life be a 3d object on the computer screen and that can be done with any camera.
I learn about it as we need to know how it works and what we need to do to make the world safer with what's out there

Yes I can spot the difference. In ways of thinking of how the image is functioning and determining what looks real and what looks fake and with a good eye for detail it's easy to spot
