A shout out to All the Canberra Peeps,

It's really good, the perfect balance between nature and an old rustic pub. Since the weather is warming up now, highly recommend sitting at one of the tables outside.
i really want to check it out, i dont go out much and when i do i just dont know where to go so its great hearing about all these places i never knew existed :) thanks Slayer x

More than happy to help. I try not to eat out to often get expensive quick, but fail frequently. Guess that's one downside to having heaps of friends that are all foodies. Upside is you find a lot of great little spots to go eat at.

If you like brunch, I'd highly recommend either Ona in Fyshwick near Matt Blat, or Teddy Pickers on constitution avenue. They're both a bit pricey due to being trendy, hipster brunch cafes. Really nice food though.

breakfast /brunch is def what i prefer to have out rather than a dinner, i really like going to the Phillip markets on Sunday, there is this stall called "bowls and Co" they make porridge bowls and they are the best, especially in winter time.. its a must :)

I've heard there's a few snakes around the hills this time of year Rachy? Have you seen any?

Later today I'm planning to visit a nice establishment and enjoy some time with a beautiful lady. I just need to decide where.

Keep an eye on this forum for private women in Canberra, and obviously there's always lady's on at Langtrees.

Holy Crap! there were some serious near misses there!

has anyone been on the light rail yet? what did you think?

It's great I liked it.

The light rail though let me leave at 8:30 and I was usually sitting at my desk by 9.

Plus $3.22 each way in peak hour was better than having to pay $11 a day to park.

thats def a bonus, i haven't been on it yet... maybe one day lol

Yeah it's use it really limited if you don't live near Northbourne avenue or Flemington road. It's not like your going to drive to Gungahlin from somewhere southside just to catch it to the city :p

It's good though if you lived in the city without a car and wanted to get to gunners. Or live in Gungahlin or somewhere around Franklin, Harrison and wanted to get to the city.

Once they begin building further stages it should get better.
