A quandry for punters

I find myself facing several perplexing questions and thought experienced punters may be able to offer some advice to help out. Firstly, a quick run down to get you up to speed.

Punter (that's me) decides to try a different working girl than the usual girls he sees so he goes to a local Perth website and makes an appointment (with W/L No 1). Everything goes swimmingly and this appointment is followed by a couple more with the conversation often coming around to a threesome W/L No 1 offers.

W/L No 1 offers this service with either W/L No 2 or W/L No 3. Punter, working numerically, contacts W/L No 2 and arranges an appointment which also goes really well and both ladies seem keen to work together so a 90 minute appointment is arranged for a threesome. As a threesome is not particularly cheap it is decided to send half the money to W/L No 2's working account and W/L No 1 will be paid on arrival, yeah you can see where this is going.

2 hours before said appointment W/L No 1 contacts punter to say W/L No 2 is unwell and unable to work so it is cancelled. Punter contacts W/L No 2 and enquires about the money, firstly W/L No 2 misplaces bank details and secondly she says she put money into wrong account, Hmmm. Punter starts to realise he will never see his money again so offers to see W/L No 2 again to work it off.

An excellent idea thinks W/L No 2, could punter contact her next week for an appointment, which he does but she is booked out all week, Hmmm, please try again next week. Punter does but from then until now (6 or 7 weeks) all SMS and email contacts are ignored.

Question 1 - Does Punter keep trying to get his money back, if so, how if not does punter just walk away and write it up as a lesson in trust.

Question 2 - Does Punter ever bother to see W/L No 3 who is completely innocent of this entire tale but could be a case of "Fool me once, shame on you..."

Question 3 - What about W/L No 1? Does punter see her again or is that a bit weird seeing that it was her personal recommendation that led punter to W/L No 2 in the first place.

Any advice would be much appreciated, Reg

Have you tried to contact W/L 2 using a different phone so that a different number appears. That way she doesn't know it's you????

At the very least contact 1 and let her know you got ripped off by her referral if she wasn't in on it then she will at least know not to work with 2 again. Otherwise I'd write off 1 and 2. Really even if you phoned 2 again - then what? she is avoiding you so doesn't want to honour the deal so if you tricked her into speaking with you and guilted her into an appointment I couldn't imagine she'd be doing it too willingingly....

Quite frankly Reggie that's theft, deceit & fraud in its purest form!! Yes it was a bit silly sending money prior to meeting but you did so in good faith. Contact W/L 1 and explain what has happened and your intention. Somehow contact #2 by whatever means and explain to her that unless the situation is rectified to your full satisfaction (probably refund as I wouldn't want to go anywhere near her) you will have her name and contact details on every online forum you can find in order to warn others - her business will soon falter. Sorry mate - bad luck - what a bitch!!

That really does suck TReggie......I would certainly be contacting W/L No1 and letting her know what happened and be putting the pressure on W/L No2 to refund the money, I'm sure if worded the right way you would recieve yuor money back.

Cheers

Scottie

explain situation to W/L1 in a friendly way.
ask if she can sort out money, either cash return or services.
hint that names will be named if there isn't a result, pointing out that if she lost just 5 jobs because of being named, it would be far better & cheaper to refund you.
good luck.

Make another booking with No 1, and don't leave until she a) gives you a refund on her 'friends' behalf, after all she referred her and should feel some sort of obligation to rectify the situation b) calls her friend to come and return your money. If she has any integrity she will do all it takes to look after her 'regular'!

If I were you, I would call WL no 2 with a different number and a different name, organise a booking and get the working address.. then I would show up.. bringing a copy of your fund transfer and work it out how you want it from there..

If I was you I wouldn't bother wasting my time trying to get my money back. It will chew up too much of my time and the process is likely to piss me off a lot more. Its called punting, and without being disrespectful, why would you pay a deposit??? But at least you do know from now that you should never do this again in the future, just move on and a good lady.

To be fair to both ladies, now that you've made an effort to recoup your money, and at the same time given them plenty of opportunities to return the money, and they have not done so, NAME them.

Write it off to experience. Lessons to be learned are:
No advance payments.
Treat both W/L the same.
Treat both of them well.
Let W/L 1 know what happened and without getting angry let her know you feel ripped off. Sites like this can spread the word about unfair treatment of all concerned.

Likewise - put it down to experience and write a referral as you have here - and name the W/L involved.
