So, for my second (proof of life) post I thought I'd kick off a topic. Do you temember your first punt, your professional cherry pop?
Many moons ago I was working north of Kalgoorlie, some workmates and myself went for a drive in to Kal to blow off some steam and cash. The next day was supposed to be an rdo but that got changed, so I thought "I'm not going back loaded". I went for a wander down the legendary Hay St and eventually settled on a more mature but very pretty lady that was standing outside her donga. Being completely green I wasn't sure what to do, so awkwardly walked over to her and was greeted with a gorgeous smile. I asked her how it all works and she gave me a price run down, pretty affordable by today's prices looking back
I remember something around the $120 mark and i replied "I've only got 80 bucks". She must've taken pity on a poor young lad, because she gave me a cute eye roll, smiled, and said "C'mon"
When we got a knock on the door for time I said "i'm not finished yet" so she smiled and said "Well keep going". I left a very happy, and slightly wiser, chappy. Great first punt
