Why do some posters write...

... in such big colourful fonts and get the text centralized? You can see the writing on Google Earth I suspect.

Has anyone missed anything when it's written in normal size? Could the big font drive people away from reading their posts?

How did you do that !

I tried and tried, then my keys started disappearing, so I had to stop while I could still see the 'Return' key.

I like it! It looks a lot less boring on the page and really who cares?

I've got to be honest... if I'm scanning through a thread I often don't read the colour/centered posts. Don't know why. It's not really something I do consciously. My brain doesn't like it!

Simple - they want to shout, but yet somehow in a polite manner.

Even better if they use Comic Sans, the 'best' font in the entire world of creativity.

I have been told by Mary-Anne personally that as far as staff go she prefers us to use a smaller font unless advertising an event or a celebration. Sometimes large font can seem like the screen is screaming at you and can come across quite harsh or seem to be attitude. I like my colour because it is my favourite colour,,,but after seeing Mary-Anne's point I keep my font at a much smaller (regular) size now.

I do understand that some may have bad eyes and use these features so that they can see what they are writing.

Nailed it. I think's probably why my first reaction is to skip it.

Yes Maryanne did ask us as her staff to decide what colour we would like
& she said to stick to the colour (maybe even font) so it s your signature!

Anyway that was one of the reasons we do that !
But she does NOT like LARGE FONTS ... so there!
