New Years Eve Plans??

O.K. It is new years day so what (if anything) is everybody planning for tonight?

I am thinking dinner at the Casino then rattle around the pubs and clubs of Northbridge and get out before all hell breaks loose at midnight.

Probably finish up in Xotica so if any other members are heading that way let me know and I'll look out for you.

Well, so much for that. I must be getting old.

I went to the Casino and there was nowhere to park so I parked in front of Langtrees and walked thinking that most of the people would be in the theatre. Wrong! the casino was crowded as was Paddy Hannan's, the Carvery and everywhere else so I left for Vic Park.

Just near John Hughes second hand yard in Albany Highway is Brando's, a modest unpretentious Italian pizzeria/trattoria and their fettucine carbonara is the best in Perth. After that I wandered up to the Broken Hill where there was a good band starting up but by now my get up and go had got up and went so I headed for home.

I am sure the new year can find its way in without my help.
