How Do You Keep Fit and Healthy?

I've found in the last 10 months that having a couple of beers of champagnes with clients and eating at all hours of the day and losing routine has helped my already voluptuous figure get bigger.

I have jumped back on the health kick band wagon of gyming and making sure my diet is on point (a cracker here or there or champagne can't hurt?).

Help a sister out and let me know how you maintain your weight and overall health! We can get so caught up with drinking and having a good time with clients, sleeping in and missing the gym or having a quick uber eats fix that we can let ourselves go a little bit!

You just have to get into a routine, what works for me as soon as i get up i go for a long walk with my dog and keep no junk food in the house . In summer i go swimming as well. I very rarely eat takeaway. Full you fridge with healthy food & snacks to full you self up on. Find an active activity that you enjoy, than you will stick to it,. Happy getting fit & healthy. :D

Download the Easy Diet Diary app. It’s free, really easy to use and is a great way to see how many calories you’re consuming. Eat and drink what you want but record it. I lost about 8 kilos without even really trying.

Walking is always the very best exercise and looking after your feet is important as they are the most valuable form of transport.

Walking is great, but on the war path is another story though!! which leads me to this, when you are on the war path, do you put on the black slappers just for added impact!

Be prepared, only keep fresh healthy food and snacks in your fridge and bring the good stuff to work too. (Next time we are on together I will show you the snack box I bring every shift.) Drink lots and lots of water to combat the champagne. Get out for a walk and enjoy the fresh air.

UberEats or a chocolate filled pantry is way to easy.
It's human nature to take the path of least resistance.
But if you plan ahead, the path of least resistance is generally the healthier option. Give yourself the option, make sure you have fruit and veg in your fridge.

Make commitments, set goals. Small, realistic and achievable goals.
There are some great apps available to help with motivation. Simply walking and logging your distance, will spur you on to bet your previous best.

Compete with friends using apps like Strava is fantastic. It creates a friendly rivalry and drive to maintain.

I was on strict keto for ~14 months and managed to drop about 30kg purely on diet, no extra exercise, so it definitely works.

But it's not sustainable long term, so I've recently joined a gym and relaxed on the diet. I'm hoping lifting will help me get away with eating what I want within reason, without stacking the fat back on.

Dunno anything about the Diet diary app mentioned, but MyFitnessPal works really well. You can just scan the barcode of whatever food you bought or search up a food item and it will give you the calories and nutrients. It also makes a prediction based on your own data and weight loss goal(Ex 0.5 kilo a week) for the max calories you should eat. Just never go above that limit and if you get hungry try find some more filling food for the future. You'll find some of the foods you frequently eat are horribly bad for you or take up half your daily calories and never want to eat them again.

I did the Dukan diet about seven years ago. i lost over 24kg, so it worked for me. To keep the weight off I walk an hour a day, eat only within an eight hour window per day and watch what I do eat.

Ive done a lot of sport and exercise my life. Unfortunately if u arent confident riding a bike dont do it. Injuries are too great. I met two persons who ended up in wheelchairs from simple bike falls, olympic cyclists hsve ended up in wheelchairs, also dangerous downhill stuff. Light gym weights and/or aerobics walk a few kms a day seems best, low injuries and some socialising .

People I know have needed shoulder reconstructions from swimming, heavy weights is too much load snd cause injuries, stretch well.

My Fitbit Charge 3 is a demanding companion. Always making me walk instead of drive, counts my every kilojoule and always nags me to get up and walk around every hour.

We can never part though, as I know deep down it is a good and healthy relationship. So I put up with the nagging, the reminders and the fact she only likes being plugged in once a week...

Lucky you. Mine must be solar powered. Embarrassed to say it’s been at least two years probably longer since the last time I had recharge rights granted. I’m a sad fuck.
