Seems the forum is full of heat at the moment, right or wrong it`s up to everybody to decide for themselves...
But do you ever wonder who or what lurks behind the keyboard.

Could it be a 99 year old virgin man who uses a walking frame that is pretending to be a exbouncer that can throw his weight around.

Is it a Sunday school teacher that has a fetish for sex forums and is hoping to one day save us all from this evil.

Am I a very overweight man that hasn`t seen either my own toes or the outside world for a few years and use the services of Dial a Pizza everyday because I don`t know how to cook.

How many of us have met the same people we respond to on this forum?

Basically we interact with each other through avatars and as you correctly point out - anybody could be on the other side of the keyboard.

Having said that, if you read peoples posts - particularly over a period of time, you can get a fairly good idea of what they are all about.

I know that one can bullsh*t about ones exploits and conquests, but sooner or later a comment is made and you can see what that person is all about.

Well that's my 2c worth anyway.

Has anyone ever seen the Clint Eastwood film Bronco Billy? Its one of my favorites...the characters in the film have become the people they want to be,they all change their life paths and end up in a travelling Rodeo Show and being truly happy.
Is anyone ever who you think they are....Most people are defining, refining,evolving,learning,changing and just soaking up the human experience. I sometimes step out of my comfort zone for the adrenalin rush, just to know I am alive and to see who I am or who I am not.

Only a naive person would wonder such a thing dear. The advise I was given was simple. If you're unsure or can't handle the heat, don't participate.

I recently had a private conversation with another forum member who asked am I really fat, and can I really drive a truck? I answered by saying, "Who ever wrote the truth in a public forum?"

But as TB mentioned, "If you want to use your avatar to be who you want to be........GOOD FOR YOU!"

Excellent point FB. I hope you and H2 purchased your fencing kit on Thursday. I read there's some cheap imports from NZ. Apparently each kit comes with a free video tutorial and even a sexy flight attendant who can deliver to your door.

I agree with Hardwood that you can generally get a read on somebody over time, if you follow a person's posts for long enough you can mostly understand what they are about and what type of person they are.

Mostly, anyway, there are always exceptions to the rule I guess!

.....a former PA of MaryAnne's used to arrange monthly dinners at the Mighty Quinn (Tuart Hill). Good meals (attendees payed for their own meals & drinks) & bands playing on Saturday nites. For those who were looking to play afterwards, they would all head up to the Ladies Playground (Wangara) for "dessert". I only ever attended the first part of the evening and they were great.
