They've been playing the rebuild tune for almost 5 years now.
Well No they have not after the 2018 Eagles Premiership the club was stuck with a lot of old or mature players who were on very expensive long term contracts these guys were happy as a pig in shit rich employed and achieved there ambition a Grand Final and happy to play out there contract .
Delayed any rebuild by 3 or 4 years . then consider a rebuild from scratch could be years 18 clubs maybe 18 years to the next GF ?

Better goal kicking by Eagles.
R2 WCE 18 shots(5.13) to Giants 28 shots (16.12)- 10 less shots = margin 65 pts at home
R3 Bulldogs 26 shots (16.10) to WCE 15 shots (3.12) - 11 less shots = margin 76 pts at Marvel, Melb
R4 WCE 23 shots (11.12) to Sydney 29 shots (15.14) - 6 less shots = margin 26pts in Adelaide
Yah margin was under 50 points

Sydney turned up knowing they had the week off and didn't have to try hard to get the win..

Personally I think the entire WCE mens team should work at Langtrees because they're fully qualified. After all, they're well and truly fucked!

yes i think there is something there.
Cant recall a side that has sooo many injuries to key players over such a long period.
Mind you if i was in charge I would of replaced a lot of the aging players before last year and blood the youngsters

I've been an eagles supporter since i was a small child, the last few years my father and i have been shattered with the losses unfortunately but i think its cool to see that die hard fans will support the team regardless of their favourite teams losses and i think it says and does a lot !!!!!

Aging players and Lathlain Park.
It would have been a different if Andrew Gaff hadn't changed his mind and decided to stay after the 2018 season.
Because of that, the Eagles decided they didn't need Tim Kelly, who they could have got with a second round draft pick. They sold the farm and got Kelly the year after...
Traded all their draft picks and a continual list of injured players.
The rise is 2 to 3 years away.
We will probably see them winning games this year and in the top 8 by year 2026.
Saw some absolute guns this year, young and need game time. If they pick up 4 good ones from the draft in the next 2 years. They will almost be there playing in September.

Good kicking at goal builds players confidence. At half time
WCE 11.2 - 13 shots 68 pts
Leading
Rich 7.7 - 14 shots 49 pts

Eagles kicked 5.13 after half time.
A wins is a win.
Also a win by wafl eagles after about 2 years.

West coast need to calm down so we can get some more good picks for next season. 😂
Still waiting on Allen, Ryan and Flynn to come back in. Seems the new strength and conditioning staff are more effective than the previous kids and the injury curse has gone.
Sheed and Gaff should stay in the WAFL team
