2014, Meet and Greet, Twice a year or only once.

OK;- I will be the devil advocate and raise the discussion on 2014 meet and greet. I am aware this may be not popular with a lot of people but professionally for the langtrees organization it`s a great promotion idea. In general the idea is langtrees runs the party, professional W/L come along and us punters show up for a chat and laugh.
Obviously someone get`s to do all the hard work.
So should this function run once a year or a couple times a year?
for example;- Summer meet a greet at a pool party BBQ? and winter meet and greet at a restaurant?
Your views, positive and negative, please remember be nice to the messager Pirate after all I will probably never show up LOL

Absolutely. I agree. Although keep the booze to a limit though for us who are driving long distances. The idea of having a meet at a different location / private venue sounds interesting. Keen to hear from the rest.

Meet ups are a great way to network, meet new friends and stay in contact with people whom you like to see but don't always get to. Everyone gets so busy it's nice to set aside time to socialise from time to time.

Being a bit of a newbie here, I'd love to get to know the people in the industry and put some names to faces

I missed last Years meet n greet Sounds like it was a comfortable gathering of like minded souls
Sounds like something that should be on a set day each year so everyone , especially those of us who have to travel, can organise well out from the actual date
You know, first Saturday of every December and first Saturday of each June Or however often it's thought it should be held

Meet and greet is perfectly fine, however, meat and grind is out of my price range for now.
