Will it ever stop being taboo???

Time has changeds so many things but there is one thing I feel it should have...

Will seeing or working as a W/L ever stop being seen as taboo??

Some of us grew up during the free love era, others feel that it`s ok to have one night stands, some even have friends with benefits.

These days it seems we are getting used to the fact that unless we are married it`s ok to have more then one sexual partner.


So why is it that to see or be a W/L is still considered to be taboo??

My personal take on it is that you're mixing money and sex. It's a "commodity" now when using a WL.

Then there is the madonna/whore complex crap us females STILL have to deal with in this day and age. Slut is a term that is used on women more than men still. And "free sex" (it's not really 'free' is it? lol!!) is still regarded as "better" than "paid" sex.

Even tho' WLs take more precautions than the horny drunk chick at the nightclub.

Some people just have a problem with money being intertwined with something so "personal".

I think it will always be seen as taboo but I think as time goes by, more people will start to accept that it will always be part of our society

I have to agree here i'm only new to the sex industry and have come across some narrow minded people to me yes this is a job i work hard for what i do and put up with alot more crap then these so called main stream people hello if your going to come into a brothel or ring up an escort and judge us for our line of work why on earth are you calling in the first place we are here to provide a service to you ! We are here to provide a service to you and we are alot more caution them someone you pick up off the streets or at a club . So to the people who judge the working lady's of Today its alot different to the 60's ect there are more procautions in place now and to the people that think all working ladys use/are on drugs and only doing this job to support there habit that is untrue alot of working ladys work two jobs this does not mean we do this work because we are money hungry it is because we have bills to pay a family to look after and so forth so for the people who judge us how about you walk a day in our shoes i can guarantee that you will think before judging todays working ladys

I couldn't care less if it's taboo or not. It's what I want to do and I have always had fun doing.
I think relationships are just pain suffering and misery...Maybe that should be taboo.
