I have spent a lot of time in both Melbourne and Sydney for both Business and Pleasure and must say Melbourne all the way for me.

Much easier to get around Melbourne, less pretentious restaurants and more cosmopolitan.

If you are into AFL and horse racing it is Melbourne by the length of the Flemington straight!

I have had some good punts in Melbourne as well.

Sydney just copies Melbourne racing and throws more money away with less real racing fans! Better river in Perth , way better beaches in SW WAplush hotel is a plush hotel , but it's the friendliness of the locals that make the difference.. So cliquey Sydney! Still Half pi British colonial wannabes 🤷🤷🤷
