Public transport is free on Xmas day so I usually pack my bag with a few drinks and some food and hop on a country train and go to a different country town see what's open have a look around dinner and late train home.

Not the first tine I've done that. Good Friday also provides deserted streets in my old stamping ground McLaren Vale.
Christmas day is with family and grandchildren. Work up until Christmas Eve. Then off until 5th January. Looking forward to quite time and nightly beach walks
