Maybe this won't be well received but in my opinion au.langtees.com is an ugly mess of a website, I decided it wasn't worth saying anything when it launched, but as time goes on maybe it needs to be said if no one else will, presuming I'm not the only person to think so?

The "profiles" page

The banner section seems really plain but takes up a decent chunk of the vertical height of the page, which seems justaposed with the crammed block of advertiser tiles beneath it. Even more room is taken up if a state/city is selected, with what appears to be fluff text, which is distractingly animated when it appears.

In the tabs the icon for the website appears to be a blurry blue blob, that looks a bit like the old Twitter bird turned to point its beak skyward, but below it the page shows a larger version which makes it clearer that it is a bronze butterfly (probably meant to be gold), though the contrast against the grey behind it still isn't great. The dot in the logo between Langtrees and com is also quite difficult to see, seriously lacking contrast against the background.

The page doesn't compell the user to make a selection of their region within Australia and neither does it seem to try and use techniques to guess the location, showing profiles from all over Australia unles the "State" drop down is used, the options for "State" are not states but are instead capital cities, despite this the filter does show profiles from all over the state or territory the selected city resides within.

The individual advertiser's tiles are quite busy and collectively they span the enter width of the page with little white space separating them. Some have a flashing green and black icon that draws the eye, but is likely quite distracting and takes the focus away from what the user might be looking for. I would say too much text is displayed for each ad, and what is there is arranged unhelpfully.

While I understand featuring the advertiser's contact number is important, I question placing it prominantly on the tiles - so many escorts seem to write that they want to make sure clients have read their full ads, and respect requests such as their lists of do and don't and what they expect from clients, so placing the phone number where it can be seen without viewing such text seems misguided to me as it encourages contacting an advertiser without even clicking their profile.

The thumbnail images displayed are low resolution - they are sent to the browser a mere 174 pixels wide and are scaled for display, making them appear quite blurry especially if text or other graphic elements were rendered into the image that was thumbnailed. This prevents the thumbnails looking as good as they should.

The filter selections trigger when a selection is made but the selection persists when the browser back button is then used, even though the prolies shown are then as per whatever the filters were previously.

The "Young Escorts" "Popular" filter for the whole of Australia returns 4 advertisers, one of which shows an age of 30, which seems older than many of the advertisers that the filter has excluded.

As you type a search query, "Please wait..." may be displayed beneath it for a relatively long period of time (ok just a few seconds) and when it is replaced the suggestions may not be helpful or even seem to be relevant.

The Youtube link in the page footer goes to a Youtube page that says "This account has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's policy prohibiting content designed to harass, bully or threaten." which sounds quite bad!

I feel that I could write alot more, but it's starting to seem like work detailing all of it, and I haven't gotten to stuff like what's even on the advertiser pages. Where height is only shown in foriegn 'freedom' units adults under 50 may not be familiar with (many in Australia have been raised on metric, schools haven't been teaching "feet" for a long long time)
