Tubes tied revived discussion

I was looking for feedback from people who have had their tubes tied or cut(male or female) and how have they been afterwards. I've heard of some negative stories but not enough to be sure what the average outcomes are like???

I had my tubes tied many years ago after my youngest son was born.Im sure that times and procedures have changed since then.

When I was speaking to the specalist he said that the majority of women that have their tubes tied end up having a hysterectomy within about 7 to 10 year.After asking around I pretty much found this to be true.

I found that it really didnt make me feel any different.It doesnt affect your periods or sex life.It wont bring on early menopause and if you get p.m.t it doesnt help.

There is a site that you can ask an online dr questions I cant remember the site but you could google it.

I had mine done when I was 31 and that was 14 yrs ago now and had no worries and I haven't had to have anything else done yet LOL as for the rest of it its still all in tact LOL I remember at the time after I had my daughter when I was only 20 I wanted my tubes tied then LOL but they would'nt do it said I was too young and that I would have more kids well guess what the doc was wrong I didn't have anymore kids LOL even tho I could did'nt wanna put myself thru
labour again..I am a sook..so if your looking to have it done go for it its a pretty simple precedure and its only a day surgery job..

I had mine done 17 years ago and no problems.I am sorry but your information from this specialist dosen't stack up, I will get a doctor friend to look at this with in the next week or so but prefer no more posts on this until we have had time to seek medical advise, as we could be all spreding wifes tales,

I had my tubes tied when I was 38 and have never looked back. No complications, no problems and nothing changed regarding my cycle or my hormones.
