Yes. Sadly I have given some money away. Thankfully I knew that I would never see it again and it was only $200 and it was during the Hight of the covit lockdown,s in the Philippines I had been chatting with this poor girl, she did show me where she was living . She put me on video mode so I saw her family and living conditions so I knew the money was going to food. Her mother was really thankful with tears of joy . And she sent me another video call with the food they were able to buy.

But yes there are many scams and we all need to be careful.

Thankfully I had been chatting with her before the covit lockdown event. So I didn't mind the money going to a good cause. . Food is very important.

Sadly in less developed countries, they have no welfare system. Having been to Cambodia on a couple of occasions. Makes me realise how we are extremely blessed to live in Australia. I have given for essential items many times

My country is so corrupt, they randomly blacklist peoples passport so they can get paid n still ask for more.
