Talkinsex... What happened?

There’s definitely been a change in the forum since the changes were made. Whether it’s cause and effect or just a coincidence it doesn’t matter.

There are some valid points in this thread, and everyone can deal with it however they choose. Madam Media has just made a great post asking what content do we want to see more of. But I think a good question is, what content does the owner want to see? Is this forum just sex industry based or can there be all sorts of threads/subjects. I personally like the music themed threads as an example.

But that leads to what is allowed to be said on the forum. Let’s take the given out of the equation - no threats, incitement of violence, children/ peadophillia Etc, I think anything goes. People will always disagree with things, have different opinions , and even come across as (or just be) arseholes. You can choose to or not to react.

Just my thoughts and opinions.

The quiet achievers on the forum ignore such discussions and continue to go about their reason for being on Talkinsex adjusting if need be.

TT is open for veiwing, however to post in it you need to be a duel member. Thats the major change structually.
 
The way I see it Talkinsex is like a Playboy Black Edition magazine but interactive.

It has a bit of everything sex and lifestyle related, just on a live interactive media platform, like a structure of a magazine.

The added bonus is the ability to have discussions/reviews and off course harder porn.

Unique and valued is being able to chat with WLs and see beyond the vale of a visit to a Bordello, a behind the scenes so to speak.
 
Yeh the forum didn’t need any changes it was being run well by the members sharing experiences and giving reviews. The forum now just feels like it’s filled with spammy advertisments and looks like the exact same threads everytime I check it out.
Went to Thailand last month and haven’t even bothered posting my experience and advice because it feels pointless to do so now
 
After reviewing the Talkin Turkey Private Forum, after a year away, it confused me.

I tend to wonder the point of it as it isn't really a private part of the forum. WLs or businesses can still read the threads which can be problematic.
 
@Mile High I feel patience is best. I was a bit discouraged seeing this thread start up as they appear every so often.

I really enjoy the community here. There's bound to be growing pains as the forum needs evolve to stay relevant to the times.

It’s been a while already and it’s obviously quieter here now, there was an excuse that there was a sudden influx of new people but that’s easily explained by all the profiles of people who don’t interact that got deleted who just came back to make new ones again, it was a change to try get people to the other site for profit that’s it
 
@Wooper I see, coming back after a year away was like waking up from a coma, I found it confusing, still do.
I chose to no longer be a moderator/admin but appreciate Kate keeping that torche lit for me.

I definitely feel for that for the average punter who joins to share or gain knowledge / intel of service quality from various providers, things have definitely gone backwards. I also find it really hard to navigate and keep up with the latest content. Feels fractured to me, similar to how it was with the big reshuffle a while ago.
Perhaps we need to move to other platforms like punters planet which is more focused on such as opposed to this site which is under the Langtrees umbrella.

1000%. Some Mods will even bash that discourage button when they are proven wrong...

I have been on the Forum since 2010 and yes, it has changed but I don't think "better" or "worse" are the fitting terms to describe the change.
The Forum is dynamic and the people on there decide in what direction it evolves. Some like it - some don't - let's go with the flow. What's the big deal?

I agree, it’s been around along time and some things have changed. To me it’s improved over time. One thing I don’t see enough of these days are the ladies reviews. Not just where they are or how much. How about some good old time reviews. Yes there’s a few, nothing like we used to have. Or is that just me?
