Well -- depends on how you define up / down. I.e. frames of reference; aliens may consider things differently -- technically there is no down in space; and no clock/anticlockwise

Bonobos (Pygmy Chimpanzees) often resolve conflict through the act of sex....in fact Bonobos are rarely featured in nature documentaries as they are frequently bonking....

They greet each other by bonking, they settle disputes by bonking, assert dominance by bonking, no regard to how old, relational or same or opposite sex they just bonking bonkers about bonking....

No shaking hands or a knod of recognition they just prefer to bonk their reply.
