How would this industry be different if things were different, where by it was men in a parlor waiting for women.

I've been seriously thinking of doing a qualified massage course so that I may legitimately put to practice my skills on lady customers....and on their turn over, they covered by a towel, I would motion, subtly, if they required any extras, which they could interpret any way they wish.....and at no extra charge as I would be doing it for the pleasure of my customers and NOT for extra money. Just some thoughts on the question you posed Phoebe. Sometimes I just feel like a saint :-)

By virtue of being born a woman you can get laid and paid shit I made a funny, so it really doesn't matter to you if the relationship ends, but the man involved has to chat another woman up and do all the dating stuff once again in hope he will get laid again by forking out dollars if he lucks out he ends up chatting to you "a sure thing" so to speak, and opening his wallet once again.... hmmmm and men are the apex creature... its not fair now is it....
