I mean it is either her mobile or wallet that he pinched as you see her pick it up and prior he is opening or reading whatever he nicked If he copped a feel as well then maybe he thinks the beating was worth it

Yes!!

A kick in the clangers then a follow up alongside the ear to make sure he stayed down then run like hell before he gets up or the cops come along and spoil the fun with a lot of legalistic crap.

I couldn't make out what he grabbed but he certainly picked the wrong lady for it.
