Sitting at home today and wondering how many of you like to see a working lady on a rainy day? Does the weather put you off and make you want to stay in? I love the change of seasons because I know they don't last. Winter of course is great for sleeping in but requires discipline of me which I don't mind i.e. going to the gym to keep warm, spend time reading and cleaning up before it gets too hot to clean up the house. I feel sorry for the homeless more so in winter than summer, it's hard to find dry, warm places in winter.

My heart goes out to that family with an infant living in a tent. My heart goes out to EVERYONE who's homeless or willing to rent but can't find a place to rent.

I do resent rain in a small way, it sexually arouses me but there's no one to shag and my budget isn't in Langtrees league but hey, we choose what we want to spend our money on and my alternative plan works a treat with what it's budgetted for.

Here's a suggestion. Your car is a mobile reading room cum study. When you know you're in for a day of rain, get a flask of coffee or tea, park in an area with a nice view, the parking lot by the sea, river, Northbridge if you want to check out the talent and read. Don't bring your DVD player, lock your phone in the boot and READ. You'll do yourself a favour.

if the pages on the book are stuck it's because of condensation and not something else. You've to admit, it's a good idea, no? I used to study for my exams in my car, play classical music in the background and voila! This was and still is my favourite for reading...
