Professional photoshoot tips?

I'm going to see Terry Lyon on Saturday and I've never done a photo shoot before, I've got my nails done and have a hair appointment tomorrow, does anyone have any tips on everything going smoothly?

Great to hear your having a new shoot!! My tip is - if you feel sexy and comfortable in what your wearing tbis will shine through in your photos.. habe fun.. cant wait to see them. Xx

My few tips

Different outfits for example - Lingerie, Evening wear / Dress, Casual wear / Jeans / exercise, target a broader market.

Be comfortable and speak up if your not because it will show in your photo's if there is a pose that you just don't think works say so.

If you are planning on blurring face try to take some shots with face turned or hair in front so that not all shots need to be blurred.

Show some of your personality in the shoot if your nerdy be nerdy, funny be funny, daggy be a dag don't follow the trend.

Versatile shots (not all in the same room/pose)

Don't be scared to venture outside eg backyard, beach, river his place has many places located close by.

I'm not a big fan of his photo's in front of the window there are a lot of people who have them.

Take a friend or another girl with so you have help and someone to bounce things off even better if they're fun and a bit our there lol

I have my first shoot next week with Terry as well. Let me know how it goes, tips are much appreciated!

Sounds silly but warm up/stretch before you start and bring coffee or redbull with you, you'll be surprised how tiring it can be!

Ah thankyou guys so much all of this was super relevant and I remembered to smile because of this post. Terry is really lovely I had heaps of fun. Omg Emily we had coffee beforehand and I was stretching in the sun hehe.

i know the best photos i have photgrapher put me in some wierd poses, and some were uncomfortable, keep the smile in your eyes follow your photographer and you will get some great shots

and the worst is holding those weird poses. The little abs certainly get a work out hahaha
