PP drama No unnecessary posts plz

Anyone know what went down? Seen a few WLs taking shots at PP, but not what it's about. The tone of it sounds like PP let someone/group do something negative towards WLs? But no idea what the story is.

Edit: oh, hmm I think it was related to the WL killed in Sydney. Some PP members making extremely distasteful, possibly inciting, comments? Haven't seen it yet but trying to play Twitter detective and figure out what went down.

What section did the drama take place. There is a few vile men on there and I stick to SA and don't comment much anymore

After some reading it seems like a most shocking comment was made on a post about the poor lady that lost her life this week. It's all over twitter and sex workers asking people & advertiser to boycott. The person has been suspended but not gone for good and it's being treated as a joke taken the wrong way.

Some distasteful comments were made by a couple of repeat offenders about the young lady who was killed in Sydney.

Some of the anger being directed at PP is a bit over the top but has been simmering for a while.

The anger is justified the whole site is about woman but no respect is shown, with these posts we have enough of a negative unless you can make a positive post plz do not comment further. Talkinsex is not and will never be a like PP.
WL must be treated with respect from any category, and whilst we are not the biggest forum, we are the best. I had a lovely comment just today from TBC that forum visitors where the best because they were gentleman all I ask is we keep it that way and you report the posts we miss.

This is why I love talkinsex and us ladies and women in general are respected. Here is where the true gentlemen are and have always felt safe and respected. I understand the anger and one would hope that many advertisers pull their ads from PP. I was deeply saddened by who the offender was as I have chatted online with them. Hopefully some of those gentlemen will come and join us her and I have high hope with all the hard work being put into Talkinsex it will become bigger. Quality over quantity

I agree with this. Honestly the only reason I check PP is for the reviews. Love it or hate it there is an abundance of useful review content there that is largely honest and uncensored and I have found incredibly useful in identifying bad operators and avoiding them and finding great ladies to spend my hard earned on.

Not sure if I would say it's a "love it or hate it" situation, none of the useful things you mentioned are contingent on the negatives. You can have a useful, honest community without supporting, hosting, or allowing people who behave in the way some of those did.

Yes but my point is no other forum currently has that volume of useful review content. Perhaps that will change

I have been on PP for years and while I believe it has its place, I am often skeptical about the validity of most of their content & reviews.. I have conversed with the member who made the distasteful comments many times previously and he was always respectful towards me, so I was quite shocked at these comments. It has always baffled me that a forum that is based around sex workers is so negative - quite disappointing and disheartening.
