I was unsure if this was the correct location for this post ? But it's the hope it may get more traffic and some adult service providers may see.

Today I had acall from a close friend whom I had no idea was in the adult industry. (Only fans then transitioned to sugar dating and then escorting over the past 2 years ) Has been assaulted during a visit with a client? I don't mean that it was entirely of a sexual assault nature. This person has done some damage to her and she is currently visable bruising to eye sockets and a split across the back of head.

She is too scared to go to the police, as she is unaware of how it will be viewed when she says she is a escort? I believe police would take action as the condition of her outweigh any one claiming "rough play".

Do any adult workers and punters or viewers here have someone they can recommend ,for the counciling and any legal advice and support from a understanding individual? I have done my research and found the victims of violence lines and services. But was hoping there maybe someone specific recommended by this in the industry themselves.

Please feel free to PM the details as I don't expect peoples details to be posted on a forum if they are a legal practicing individual. As I would hope in 2023 the stigma around the adult industry would have diminished but I haven't had personal experience to claim there isn't a prejudice by police and others

Thanks in advance forum.

Admin if you believe this should be housed elsewhere please advise and I can delete and shift.

Regards,

Lukifer

Sadly I dont have contact details.

That being said, these assholes rely on fear to keep WLs quiet.

They seem to forget though that assault and blackmail are both illegal.

She should report it.

If the cops ignore her, then go to a reporter.

I suggest your friend gets in touch with Magenta Link is broken so has been taken down

They can provide her counselling and support. If she wishes to go to the police, they can assist with that too. AFAIK Magenta can put her in contact with a SW informed officer

I hope she’s okay

Thanks for the initial support and advise. It had me in two minds as I searched her working name and she has been known on here in a favourable manner. But I wanted to not name in case the offender is a member or it floods the working number with people with good intentions at a bad time.

She should definitely report it to the Police - easy for me to say !

But if not, then this arsehole will have got away with it and go on to do it to other girls.

Not sure if Police are a good move, but Magenta will know.

Please wish her well from us on the Forum and assure her that we do not condone this kind of behaviour.

There's no reason to disclose identity
I think there is every reason to disclose the identity of whomever assaulted her.

Name and shame if nothing else.

Too often these people hurt way too many other folks before getting punished for it.

I'll even reference a recent encounter here where a punter attempted to blackmail a WL into unprotected sex because he could.

That right there wasnt illegal despite it being a trashy thing...all of my favorite ladies now have his photo and phone number.

I believe the comment about identity disclosure was in relation to the girls name nit the offender. I agree 100 percent if a name and number is known it will be shared with people in the industry out of this forum. The identity of the victim was not said as they have reviews here and a number if them. So disclosing that would just cause a influx in messages or appearances of concerned past clients to a now switched off phone. Or result in the offender seeing it and retaliation events.

Magenta is definitely her best bet for counseling, legal advice, assisting interaction with police etc. They also have an "Ugly Mugs" list to report assaults etc.

Hope she gets the support she needs.

It's great to see such a wonderful thread develop with that true blue mateship Aussies are known for around the world.
I can't help per se` but you Lukifer are doing a very special thing .. both here and with yur WL friend. KUDOS to you 👍👍

The ugly mug list doesn’t exist unfortunately if conditions were better she would have felt no hesitation in reporting a crime to police the accused would of been added to a database that sex workers can access and we’d all be safer but this world is run by men and do u think they want A database out there like that available for everyone to see no it could be damaging to their reputations men can rate and review the sex workers they see we don’t get the same privileges that’s just how it is this industry will either make or break you I find the best support is sharing experiences with other sex workers sounds like she had a bad experience

Hi I have a contact in the police and he is fantastic he's very sex worker friendly and eager to help us. There are currently ongoing charges for another bad client and he's the one running that investigation.
I will DM you his contact details. She can email or call him and he's super responsive with 0 judgement.

Thank you Amelia,
Do you have an issue with me showing her your message at all? As it would help them not feel isolated that another and quite valued industry professional has recommended them ?

A great thread/posts to see support for SWs.

I hope the lady is able to get all the support, legally, physically and mentally that she needs. All without judgement, only with compassion and caring.
Yes agreed,

When I was searching keywords in the forum to find advise or contacts. I wasn't seeing alot outside of the laws in adult industry of various states. So I assumed that it's a conversation had between professionals privately in their own circles and colleagues or content creators.

Which I was very humbled that my inbox has received advise , support and first had accounts of people previously affected.

I am just going off their website:

Ugly Mugs

What is an Ugly Mug?

An Ugly Mug is a client who has been violent or mistreated a sex worker. Magenta collects reports of these from sex workers. If you have come across an Ugly Mug contact an Educator to talk about it. The information is updated regularly and is available by subscription.

Why report an Ugly Mug?

Reporting an ugly mug can help keep other sex workers safe. By providing details of the client, and the incident, other workers can look out for similar situations, and protect themselves.
Magenta staff will never force anyone to report an ugly mug. Staff fully support the worker’s right to choose whatever course of action they wish (or none at all), following an incident.

What kind of questions will I be asked?

Magenta staff are experienced in assisting you to report an ugly mug. The general reporting format can be found here. Of course, Magenta staff will be as flexible as possible in helping you answer these questions so we can prepare a report.
