Raunchy, established 1985.

I well remember lunchtime pub shows of the mid-1980s, where the Raunchy girls would dance their thing on rudimentary catwalks ... and adorn themselves with the ubiquitous rectangular "Raunchy Girl" car window/bumper stickers ... gee whiz, those stickers ended up on every second ute driving around Perth !

It was all good fun until Labor's Pam Beggs came on board as State Minister for Racing and Gaming ... almost overnight, Raunchy's girls had to cover up and male workers ended up much more sober in their weekday afternoons.

Working in Adelaide Terrace, a liquid lunch and Raunchy show was often consumed by myself and fellow co-workers at The Grosvenor Hotel ... a great character pub still serving up beers at the corner of Hill St and Hay St, across the road from The Perth Mint.

Remember it well, great days hey!!!

Back in the late 80s/early 90s had some great Sunday session Raunchy girl shows at the pub on Canning Hwy across from Raffles (forgot the name) next to Clancys.
