So you believe many women in Perth resort to prostitution due to a drug habit? I mean of the junkie variety dying for a fix and street walking? You say "Even on this site multiples of entries have been made of those with addictions.". Can you reproduce some, I'm a newbie.

Ok I'll concede. Very few women resort to prostitution because of a drug habit. I'm not too old to learn.

Wow, this is a really old thread that has come to light again! Sex work can be different in different countries and it is sad when women choose sex work for all the wrong reasons.
My opinion is based on sex work in Australia and in my experience many women find sex work empowering and make sex work their chosen career.
Sex trafficking is a crime and is not sex work, much like rape is not sex, a forced crime and consensual sex work are.
Addiction is a curse in any industry and the sex industry is like any other industry - times have changed a lot since the old stereotype of pimps and addicted sex workers... sex workers are more likely to have an ABN and pay tax and claim their work phone as an expense rather than have a hot line to a drug dealer.
