1st and foremost every public holiday that is dedicated to the Military came about because of brave men with Guns, those same brave men with Guns saved Australians from being invaded by the Japanese back in WW2, so Guns work as intended, and A gun is designed as you don't shot to kill to you shoot to stay alive on the Battlefield... so if you hate guns next ANZAC Day please tell your boss you are coming in to work, please.
Secondly Guns don't Kill. go buy an AR15/AK47 etc load the magazine place it in the Rifle body and place the safety on, now put the gun on the wall, inside a gun safe, etc etc leave it there for a few years, go back is the Magazine still full? so therefore the gun is useless by itself, in this scenario it takes evil humans to pick up said Rifle take the safety off and fire into a crowd like the Las Vegas shooter did, likewise Port Arthur, and the other day at Charlie Kirk, now if the alleged killer, woke up that day and went to a rifle range instead and used a rifle in the way it was designed, and let of some steam that way, He would be free and not looking at a Death Sentence, and Charlie would still be alive so there was it the gun? Nope..

Men with guns go to war to do a job they have all been trained to do , there is a difference between the two..
