New to bdsm

I've never actually tried any real bdsm. But I've read some and watched some stuff about different types of bdsm. It's something that has got we really interested. im really wondering what's the bet way to start getting into this sort of stuff if any one could give me some tips to help out would be greatly appreciated
 
I am also fascinated by the subject and been to scared to ask, look forward to ideas how to move forward, my partner just isn't interested.
 
if you are interested there is a Munch at The Court this Sunday from 2pm. It's basically just a big mingle of people in the BDSM community. There is no "play" or overt interactions but it's a great way to meet kinky people in a relaxed setting and find out about other events to attend.

But Munches are get togethers which are usually held regularly (depending on your local scene) which allow for people to go and meet others in a non pressure environment. They are popularly held in a public venue and within reason are meant to be "vanilla" to allow those that aren't out of the kinky closet to feel comfortable to come and socialise without fear if they get seen with kinksters and BDSMers.

It's a good way to go and meet people, make new friends, meet people from online in a safe non threatening or intimidating way.

Here in Perth we have the Court Munch, A pre- Court Munch (for newbies), A mid-week Munch, Hills Munch, NOR Munch and a Rockingham Munch.

M and I hold a discussion group for couples in TPE relationships but we aren't a Munch because it's considered secular. The Munches are for everyone in the community to get together regardless of your relationship status, orientation, label/role, or kinks.

When the next one of these after this Sunday? as I won't be able to make it.
 
There is a strong BDSM scene in Canberra and I have attended a few of their munches. A really fantastic community of accepting and open minded people.

Munches are a great way to meet likeminded people in a safe setting .
I hold a yoga class for kinksters - another great way to meet people especially if one is shy and doesn't like talking too much
