Within the last couple of months a new Thai massage shop has opened in Ballajura.

It is just off Alexander Drive in the small shopping centre corner of Paradise Quays and Summerlakes Parade, Ballajura.

It is called Sun Smile Thai Massage, contact number is in the photo.

Have not seen any advertising.

Here is my rationale for seeking out a legit massage shop at a reasonable price.

Post chemo I didn't have the energy or the want for traveling around to find a shop that would just provide a massage for my needs, most experiences were you attend a shop for their needs of making a buck on you being a male.

I'm sure if a woman went into a massage shop, just wanting a massage, no way they would be harrased for extras and achieve a massage for the full paid time.

At Massage Boutique in maddington a girl walked in looking for prices during our negotiations and the owner sent her on her way without any prices as far as I know. I have heard masseuse only gets the extras money, none of the room fee. There are some unhappy female google reviewers for rub'n'tug's also that I've seen they didn't get harrassed but weren't happy with the massage not sure if they got short changed on time.

Exactly, I've noticed the odd bad review by females that have had massages at rub'n'tug shops. Can't be generalised though as some massage female customers well. I would doubt a masseuse would get zero for a booking if no extras but I don't know any different. I've only heard the rate was low not zero.

Most shops pay them around $20-$25 for an hour out of the room rate hence why they usually push extras to make it worthwhile.

That's about a 25/75 split of the room fee roughly isn't it?

So if a legit mall shop and a stand alone RnT shop charge $80 an hour, which seems the standard, I'd hope staff from either establishment get a fair wage. Possibly the RnT parlour girls might be better off given they push for extras.
 
Rub n tugs have never been busy when I have been there. So I presume the owners don't make that much from the rub n tug shop room fee's. Saturday morning shopping centre massage busy usually?
 
If the girl is good at extras then she makes a shit load of dollars for the week . I spoke to one girl once and she was a stunner and great at extras . She told me on a good day 1000.00 dollars was pretty easy to make or over 5 grand a week . That's all cash money ..

Thats not that much but you might be comfortable if getting paid that much. Yes and no tax cash money would be good in Australia.

There would be a few who wouldn't pay tax on extras .
 
Called by today to pick up a paper at the IGA next door. Even the supermarket has changed ownership into a convenience store and cafe/diner. So if you're wanting to go into the massage business ask one of the diners sitting outside near the front door how their Latte is....

This would be a "Walk Of Shame" on steroids for those concerned of such things but not if you're after a genuine massage.

Would appear many of these boutique shopping centres are getting a new life which is great, better than empty shops.
