Negotiating BDSM

Conventional thinking indicates that for good BDSM there needs to be a clear understanding from both parties as to limits, tolerances, and intensity. But when arranging an hour with a WG, how are these boundaries established?

Best to see someone who specialises in BDSM as they are experienced in first timers, expectations and boundaries.

Agree- best to see someone who is experienced - they need to know what they are doing and need to be able to able to recognise the signs of going to too far. The best experiences I had were with English Rose ( now sadly retired) , she had an intuitive sense of what turned you on and knew how far to push things. Never had to use the safe word with her.
