misconceptions of working ladies

In some areas of society there seem to exist certain misconceptions toward the ladies in the sex industry. Many people seem to believe that the girls are poorly educated ,drug addicts or simply girls with particularly poor hygine or carring disease .
Not only are this misconceptions insulting to the ladies they are also vastly and wildly inaccurate. A majority of the ladies are quite highly educated and more than capable of holding a conversation with anybody else in society, many of the ladies attending universities or other higher learning establishments.
Admittedly there are a limited number of girls who i suspect would use drugs from time to time , however i have never come across any industry which would claim have an entirly drug free employment base . I am sure the useage rate compare very favorably with many other industries such as mining.I know reputable places in Perth will not allow ladies to work in their premises if they suspect them to be under the influence.
The misconception i find the hardest to except is that some people , normally small minded people who have never been into such an establishment and like to comment on things they have no first hand knowledge of ,seem to believe the ladies are dirty or carry disease. Neither of these things are true . Some private operators or less reputable establishments may let their standards lapse from time to time, mainly to their own detriment ( and the rest of the industry unfortunatly ) but places such as Langtrees have always insisted on the highest of standards. Health checks of clients and safe sex is a must and every lady working there must regularly be given a clean bill of health from a doctor to ensure not only every clients mental and physcial well being but also there own.
Personal hygine amongst the ladies is of the highest standard many of the ladies spending hours working on their hygine and their appearance in general.I know at high end establishments such as Langtrees any girl who has not put in 100% to maintain these high standards will be asked to address the situation.Maryanne will constantly be checking to ensure all the ladies meet her high standard ,ensuring the best for both the ladies and the clients.
So if you have had an experiance in the industry that was less than !00% , or no experiance with the industry at all , why not try a reputable house and have an experiance they way it should be before forming any conceptions of the ladies who work in the industry.

So true, Tahlia........and not to forget.......hi guys we are not forced to work in the industry and there is no nasty pimp standing behind us using us as sex slaves. News flash: we are here because we want to be here!!!!!!!!! (we all have our own reasons......but that's a different story altogether.)

Here, here Tahlia. The views you so ably rebut say much more about the small minded ignoramuses who express them than anything else. I've met some delightful women while punting and they have enriched my life.
Keep positive.

Well pointed out Tahlia and Rochelle, I agree with the point if you go to a higher end establishment you are in safe hands "so to speak", Nothing i've experienced in langtrees has come across as forced and definately very clean, hygene is a two way street and being clean for the lady is equally important and I think a bit about respect.
Good points happytimes, these ladies are all normal people, no different to any girl and often a hell of a lot nicer, better educated and respectful, I have nothing but respect and admiration for you ladies, bringing a ray of sunshine into peoples lives, more power to you.
and to anyone with the poorly educated opinion that these girls are addicts and unclean, well you dont deserve to spend time with them!!
thats my two cents anyway!

I agree totally, people think that if you are a sex worker you must be either a nympho or a drug addict. I am a well educated married mother who is working in the industry as it is a job with flexible hours and decent money. But due to societies misconceptions I would never tell friends, family (apart from my husband of course) etc what I do for a living.

I totally agree gemini.......same here. My partner knows and that is pretty much it. It is hard to keep up the double life sometimes.......(how do you explain long nights out and a constant lack of sleep when my 'normal' friends catch up for coffee or dinner on a tuesday night without sounding strange or suspicious?????)
Sad thing is....and now don't take me wrong......I love my 'normal' female friends dearly.......but I am nearly 100% sure that if they would know they would start avoiding me........another misconception.......they would probably think I would like to "do" their husbands........
Never mind.

Yes i pay for a professional 'Service' and then i pay to see professional as well to talk about it all and life in general, that way there is no guilt involved..

Thanks for the reply Happytimes......you sound very much like you know what I am talking about. Appreciate your support.
Yes....it would be great if people wouldn't judge and our profession would just be treated as a 'normal' job. But I think society is not ready for it YET (lol as you can tell I am still hoping it might chance over time).
However you are right....there is a purpose behind it and I try to make the most out of it before 'nature' catches up with me and tells me that I am pass my expiry date (lol which is most likely not too far away).

Yes I am hearing you too smoothdude19 and no doubt about it.......you struggle to keep up the double life as well. So at the endof the day we are all sitting in the same boat. LOL....hope there is not a huge wave waiting for us around the next corner.

Let's enjoy the moments and worry about the 'what's now' when the shit (excuse my lingo) hits the fan......until then....LET'S HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
