I disagree, living without regrets does not mean it has been boring. Taking risks and decisions to do things can be very challenging especially if those changes means that your entire life up to that point changes. It could be that you have been abused and you decide "no more" and it is fraught with danger or it could be that you decide not to put up with a bad situation and have give up everything and start over from scratch.

Surely if your leaving an abusive relationship or similar That is not a regret
