Legality regarding photo shoots. Ownership / use of pics

Hey forum friends.
Regarding photoshoots done for advertising purposes, can anyone provide info about ownership and use of photos? What does the photographer own and what can they legally do with raw and finished pics. Are they obligated to provide you with copies of every photo they take or is this the policy of the individual photographer?

No, not anyone. Normally there would be an agreement between the photographer and the client (in your case I guess the advertiser?) that determines what the photos are for and who gets copies and whether the photographer can re-use them for another purpose or not etc. Check out...
