That's a hard one. I'm lucky as NT was well aware of my history before we married and it's not an issue for him. But he's not your average guy, which is why I fell deeply in love with and married him.

Previous relationships I was always honest with them and when they did something really nasty or effed up they would throw my past at me. I learnt (the hard way) the instant they throw your past at you it's over. From my experiences any way.
 
I can't deal with any form of jealousy. If I can't trust someone, then the relationship is over. I had a couple of girlfriends who were a little "clingy". I had one who actually tried to make me jealous, kept telling me about work functions and all the guys who were there. I said, "Well, they work with you, so of course they'd be there". She took it as me being uncaring. After we broke up, which was inevitable, I thought maybe she had a point, perhaps I should take more of an interest in what she did, so the next girlfriend I had I asked a few questions, and … you guessed it, I was being smothering. Cannot win.

The bottom line is I refuse to have a relationship with someone I feel cannot be trusted. Jealousy is a ridiculous emotion indicating you think you own someone. Nobody owns anyone, and if she wants to disrespect me and sleep around with someone else behind my back, then I don't want to know her.

Past histories? I dated someone one night who kept bringing up her "ex". That was the first and final date. What happened in the past is past, we can learn from it, but we cannot change it. We can plan for the future, but there is no 100% guarantee there will be one. All we have is now, and if you're dating someone who makes you feel insecure, get rid of them. Life's too short for that shit. I'd rather have no-one than a jealous partner.

Then of course I had a bizarre relationship where the girl wanted to know all about my ex-girlfriends. I didn't really wish to discuss them, so that didn't last long either. I've had a lot of strange girlfriends, they all say something intelligible to begin with but things deteriorate rapidly from there. There are so many beautiful intelligent women out there, I know, I meet them all the time, but they all have partners :)

If a partner loves U he doesn't let u do this job that's my two cents also it could work for some is generally disaster
