I have been quite partial to using the NEW POSTS tab to do a quick search of new content. However with all the new members saying Hi, it worse than deleting spam emails in your inbox just to get to the "real" content. Guess I will just have to use a different search method. So HI, HELLO and WELCOME to all Noobies. There has got to be a better place to "bin" all these HELLO threads. Mild-Rant over.
 
While some of the new greeting messages are great, it would be nice to see the others write even just a few words that distinguishes one "hi" from another.
 
I wonder if I found your first posts if they were any different. many are coming back and saying thank you and three that I noticed did reviews yesterday.Most have been members since 2007 and had never bothered to join in before I forced the issue.Maybe a poll over who is better looking, maryanne or bepps will get them posting more..

I've never really seen the point in having mandatory "hello" threads, does anyone even read them?

Mods, is there a way of at least filtering them out of "new posts" search?
 
Baal members have to start somewhere if I don't force the hello thread they never join in, you guys want reviews then you need to put up with it.
 
Be nice boys I made a private forum so our unsafe sex advertisement posts can't be seen but the members in the new private forum, but how do we get oldie's if we don't have newbie's.
