Interactions with the Law in SA

Hi,
Just wondering about peoples experiences with the law in SA, either from an WL or punter perspective. I understand with COVID there has been a bit more police checking of parlours and the such but doesnt really seem to be enforced strongly. Given the decriminalisation push has stalled a bit, has anyone got any recent experience? Any good excuses or disclaimers you have seen used effectively?

I would say that with current regulations, just wondering around the city currently will get you police attention, As far as the parlors in the city they would be under constant surveillance however so is any other business in the city currently.
The police are also aware of any suburban business/parlor, hence currently they too will be under police surveillance hence the best practice currently would be to contact a "Private Lady" I suspect most of the smarter ladies will be keeping quiet currently.
The current;- "Stay at Home Policy" is been policed and if you know anything about S.A. Police Force you are aware
they will-enforce the Law. Hopefully the 7 day lock down will not be extended.

They can "enforce" whatever they want.
As an essential worker, I'm out and about every day.

I have documentation from my employer to show why.
I'd just say " If you think you've got a case, summons me".

Nine times out of ten, that's the last you'll hear of it.

During lockdown agree it would be dicey, however I have heard that prior to that one of the South Rd parlors was entered to check QR code compliance. A search of rooms encountered a john on the job thrusting away. Not sure of the outcome here if police burst in when your going for it.

In simple legal terms you need to prove there was a exchange of money for services. Hence unlikely this situation would occur.
Will the police enter an area and check for all legal registrations etc, yes. But unlikely to check any room unless they had a reason.

Australia wide one of the reasons Police can enter private rooms without a 'warrant' is if there was suspicion of drugs on the premises or the premises in the past have been used for drug use.

Apparently cops walk in brothels charge workers what's point really I mean plenty of other states is legal

Mainly because someone well above their pay grade has told them to go and book a number of WL's so that it looks good on the quota sheets.

Some cops get a kick out of it, others just grit their teeth and do it.
