Tyftt and paid it , hey its only $50. She sent me the address....google maps ....no house at address. Didnt respond as I thought I would wait see as made a time for later that night. Txt me 1 hour before booking to say her purse was stolen and could I send another 50
Needless to say all went quiet and yep no house at said address.
Australian Police will possibly just direct you too a scam awareness website and say it's not a Police matter. Little or nothing bank can do as far as I know. If you try a law suit, the court fee's will be more than you get back if your law suit is successfull. A lawyer is like 3 grand for like an hour in court I've been told also.
Just fyi......bank refunded my $50 as they investigated the account and found enough evidence the account was being used for nefarious purposes. They have suspended the account also and frozen the funds.
