Independent women

Of late I have been reading on Twitter on escorts websites that they are claiming to be "strong independent women" whom make their own money and keep their own schedule.

Now my question is and I may be confused here, but how can you be independent when you are relying upon one sector of the community to sustain your lifestyle, and as for being strong I have seen the most strong minded females go to pieces after bookings and also after being in the escorting game too long, so can I have peoples inputs here please, this is an open question I am not taking aim at anyone here I am just the messenger please.

A business person is a business person no matter what sector they are in......even if they choose to concentrate on a particular sector or clientele....

And being screwed and going into pieces can happen in any sector to anyone....

This is simply just like any other career.

Any other specialisation or individualised profession for that matter.

Private W/Ls rely on a specific sector; or specific clientele to keep them going. That is it. Eg. repeat clienteles, regulars, etc. PGs / Private Girls for instance, charge a ton ($700 per hour) but few clients do apparently find the experiences worthwhile and hence; created a restricted, loyalty market for themselves.

Same with every other profession. Freelance creatives for instance has taken so much sh*t for years yet they can keep surviving with only a handful of clientele. Again, it's all about maintaining a concise yet strong base for loyalty and respect bothways.

...I would never assume anyone being a W/L is all one linear, one choice / one pathway in trying to live in today's climate. Multiple jobs, careers, commitments could very well be hidden beneath the skin. Hence, emotions and burnouts are of course, imminent. The best thing we can do (as clients) is to encourage them to be the best at what they can be; and be grateful for what they can offer in return.

Interesting.... In a post-apocalyptic gloom.... before money ceases to have value.... I reckon some might still pay he W/L for consensual sex instead of buying farm-produced food. Farms will probably be out of business first. Back luck FB2 - I've just dropped your business to a lower tier. :D

Grow it your self hunt it down or bye it , its up to you Little .

WARNING LONG POST: I had to mount my high horse to answer this! YEEEE HAAA!

May I suggest that the Independent status they are referring to is predominantly not relying on a partner for an income. Please see 2 below...

Being independent is also about your state of mind so possibly they are also referring to their choices and way of thinking. I would say that this Independence is harder to achieve and obviously the harder part to prove. Most people need other people and rely on others to keep them happy and sane.

  1. independent
    [ ɪndɪˈpɛnd(ə)nt ] freethinking · individualistic · unconventional · maverick · free ·
    liberated · bold · unconstrained · unrestrained · unfettered · untrammelled · unhampered · undisciplined · wild · wilful · headstrong · contrary
    constrained · orthodox

  2. not depending on another for livelihood or subsistence:
"I wanted to remain independent in old age"
    synonyms: self-sufficient · self-supporting · self-sustaining · self-reliant ·
    self-standing · able to stand on one's own two feet · self-contained · self-made · living on one's hump
    dependent

    • (of income or resources) making it unnecessary to earn one's living:
      "a woman of independent means"
  3. capable of thinking or acting for oneself:
    "advice for independent travellers"
  4. not connected with another or with each other; separate:
"treating each factory as an independent unit of production"
    synonyms: unconnected · unrelated · unassociated · dissociated ·
    unattached · separate
    connected

NOUN
noun: independent · plural noun: independents

  1. an independent person or body.
"one of the few independents left in the music business"
    • an independent political candidate.
"he stood unsuccessfully as an independent in 1992"

I'm sure in the post apocalyptic gloom of which you talk Mr Little people will want sex and food I'm sure the lovely ladies here and FB and myself will do very well for ourselves

Here's hoping paper pushing has a place in this new world Eh?

For paper pushing to have a place, paper must first be manufactured. With our dying manufacturing sector it will only be those with a surviving manufacturing sector and or a trading regime that will have a need or capacity for paper pushing. Hunter gatherers tend to use cave walls to record details! But all caves will have pre-existing conservation orders so they can't be used of course!

Sorry Mr Little and your XLNC looks like your going to starve and not get lucky in your last days either

Here am I trying to let the WLs know that their wares will always be on high demand. Always have something to trade. Farms, warehouses and supermarkets would be stripped bare and destroyed by the hoards. Farmers, amongst others, will have nothing to trade for whatever little food remains in circulation. If they grow more food, it'll be taken from them, not traded.
Btw... FYI.... I've not a been pencil pusher myself. Main profession was in information technologies. Now in a much less stressful field of transport.

Remember the thread title. I was trying to empathise that women's position will always trump men's.
;)

So soorry mr little OK your not a paper pusher Still even keyboard caressers will be low down the food chain;)

No. Equal second.
1. WLs and those employed in the world's oldest profession.
2. EVERYONE ELSE.

Now if I was to open and staff a bordello -then I'd be back on top.:p
Ex-Farmers might have a use in top spot again by providing suitable stables for the fillies. :)

I'll try and not add to this thread any further. The ladies might want it back. Cheers

Nah I believe working ladies were nowhere near 1st profession Well I will concede second profession As the first punter needed to have something to pay the lady with in the first place

To do something out of character and actually respond to the OP, in addition to being reliant on a partner for their income I would also interpret 'independent' as working for themselves (as opposed to a parlour/brothel), particularly towards a goal.

The most 'with it' PWLs I've seen have mentioned how they have a plan to work for a fixed period, put much of their earnings into long-term investments, set up their own businesses (in another industry), and intend to retire by a target age. They also have the strength of personality to deal with a range of punters, including the loutish set, or are just more discerning about who they see. Strong women -- and I don't mean in-your-face, preachy, whinging radical feminists -- can also be very sexy. ;)
