I like Chinese girls and used to see as many as I could afford, but in the last year or two they appear to have all gone over to bait n switch.

Someone should speak to these Chinese pimps and tell them that there is real money to be made here in Perth if they were only to apply sound business principles.

Clean, discreet locations with lots of clean towels, a variety of girls of all ages and looks, careful vetting of girls to weed out scammers and poor service providers, true pics or clearly marked 'Similiar to' on the pics, real ages as listed, realistic prices, good prompt communication and customer service - would build a strong return customer base and make them a steady income.

Now, every time someone walks, that punter is lost to their operation, and if that punter posts on a forum like this one, then they are losing lots of other customers.

Its as simple as : if they provide a good honest service at a reasonable price, they will build up a customer base and make money.

There will always be trusting souls who walk in the door and accept all the rubbish, but if they had a steady return customer base as well as the walk ins, they would be laughing all the way to the bank.

Bait n switch is definitely not new and I would argue not something that's MORE prevalent now than before.
It's always been there and it's here to stay. There were always tons of fake pic ads/bait n switch venues. And once in a while one of them actually turned out to be a gem.
As for why you and others (myself included) might feel like the quality is dropping, apart from increase of prices, is mostly due to, I believe, the fact that the sheer amount of Chinese WLs coming to Australia/Perth is much much much lower.
Autralian borders were closed to China for about 2 years. And Chinese Borders are still not fully open. It is much more difficult for Chinese to travel out of China now than 2-3 years ago. And if they do manage to come to Australia, they are not going to be able to go home and see their family whenever they wish because of the border, again. Put yourself in their shoes for a second, would you be willing to come here and do sex work and not see your family for a very long time?
I won't go into details as to why that is, because that may involve politics and I don't think I'm well versed enough to talk about that and also this a sex forum.
Just know that the amount of people travelling from China to Australia is exponentially lower than before. And frankly Australia, especially Perth, has lost quite a bit of attraction to students and tourists from China. Pair that with a difficult border, we get very slim pickings for the forseeable future.

In this regard (Thai or Chinese offer better service) I suspect that it comes down to individual girls.

I have had some pretty aweful girls from both countries, and some crackers from both.

If they actually chose the nice girls and the had a test drive, they would work out if they are going to make money out of the Lady's

I would say a mixture of different races, same with the Pimps.

Logically, if bait & switch made zero money then it would not exist. So while people here are more in the know, there's a huge amount that aren't.

Having said that I recon the main reason is finding & keeping attractive WL much harder than the older less attractive. So from a pimps perspective, the older/unattractive WL may not earn as much, but it takes little time & effort. So the pimp has lower earners but many more WL, so total income is good.

I have on occasions given feedback post visit about playing the long game not the short game. A quick screw over for cash or bait switch in the short term instead of looking after clients so they actually return long term.
Some don’t give a wombat’s nutsack as the door keeps revolving.
Forums like this are a good way of giving feedback so others can steer clear.
