How would you like to be remembered when you are gone to a far better place? ......or not....

Just wondering as recently a couple of good mates & also acquaintances have left this life some unexpectedly - some through sickness - & often I think of how I remember them ...

I think of the impact they have made in my life from knowing them.....
also I have thought about what if they have maybe been so insular that no one has noticed them gone....

I put pen to paper & jotted down the things I would remember most about my close friends & how much them being in my life has enriched me....
I now am going to say this in a card when I have the chance ... like a birthday or in their Xmas card or maybe I shall send them the card just to let them know they are important to me.......

OTHERWISE it might to be too late to say how much someone means to me.....!!

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE REMEMBERED WHEN YOU GO?!
THAT'S MY QUESTION......

It's all objective.............great people will remember the good in me.

The evil ones that I was karma'ed to cross paths with probably think badly of me after I am gone................but they will think ill of most things with each beat of the void where a heart should be.....

Love to know them.........................:):):)
For you Jacqui i would have to say, your humour, style, your laughter, the ability to light up the room when you enter, calling for a taxi the way that you do, making suggestive faces at clients behind their backs, and last but probably not least, the way you are just so open, i think the whole of perth and canberra has seen your boobies lol
But i wouldnt have you any other way, i love you very dearly.xxxxxxxxxx

Thank you so Very Much Debby.............:):)

my moral about people and life, you live only once, every day you get is an opportunity to make your life better than the previous day,the gift of people in ones life is all up to you, respect, love and care for one n other, for we all co-existed.don't think about passing away or moving away, love is free, hold on to ones close to you, people that have moved away from my life,I always remember them for the best happy moments we shared.cheers

I am quite indifferent to how I am remembered after I leave this mortal coil. It is how I behave and interact with people while I am alive that adds quality to my life and those I love. After I'm gone I don't give a proverbial.

In any case, unless we are spectacularly famous the most we can hope for is to be remembered (for better or worse) by only 2 generations, our friends/children/relatives and grandchildren! Maybe 60-80 yrs if we are lucky.

I must comment that this quote, to me, is pure rubbish.
No offence DD - I know it's not your quote originally.
If I believed in it then the only goal I could think of would be to create a means where I may live for as long as I desire in a healthy, younger looking body. At least I'd be around to share in the success of that goal.

When I meet my wife and boy in the years to come I hope its with open arms and when the next come to join me in many many years I hope they are pleased to meet dad or grandad whatever the case may be
And if His XLNC makes it to heaven (Which I sincerely doubt I dont know if albinos are welcome in heaven) I hope he has learned to guzzle his booze or as I prefer to call it Sip with enthusiasm Or he can sit at another table to HP and I

That is fair enough.... However just wanted to try to convey that we have to make each moment count & remember to tell the people we care for we do...
I know I hardly verbalize anything .... I keep thinking what I want to let some one know but I always forget to speak it out!
Often too late...
You would not believe it, but this morning my Mom rings me & says my uncle died just watching tv.... & we had not visited him on his birthday .... so Mom felt real bad.

So Mr Little, I am really trying to say is - let's make an impact - Make waves... Live with a grateful heart... and YES ... let's live as long as we can....
& yes... healthy is excellent.....we are all healthy at Langtrees (it is a RULE)
