How do you d/load a song of youtube onto your mobile..for ringtone n notification purpose

Not sure this is the easiest way...
On my android phone, I use a software called "Tubemate" to download from youtube.
(When you download the song, choose the file format as mp3)
Then you just assign the mp3 as your ring tone.
