My first real handy hint in Darwin. You can smell it on the takers , its smells like laundry powder. I am not good at detecting drugs, Ms Sue is our expert and this will mean more to her.
I have been informed by my sister, that I introduced her to someone that smelled of Ice. I haven't a clue who it could of been, but our blood hound Ms Sue will be on the scent.

I deleted some comments that were not relevant to to subject which i will be doing to all threads I moderate. I have already spoken to members not to post so much, we want quality not quantity. I am going to make it that all posts must be lines. Otherwise we lose the good stuff, The like button is for just that, Jason is researching if a star add on or even adding dislike to the options.
I am not good at this social media stuff so lets hit like if you like it and you want the member to know you have read.To reply back lets start being a little more formal and start with the posters name, lets make this forum about friendship and fun. Langtrees.com is the sex advertising site.

I never knew that. Thanks for the insight.

Things to look out for:

- enlarged pupils
- erratic and fast speech
- greyish skin
- skin problems in general (lots of pimples, scabs etc)
- raised temperature (are they sweating or have bad BO?)
- chemical smell coming from the skin or breath
- 'Gurning' or jaw tension (looking like they are chewing gum)

Can anybody think of anything else?

Can anybody think of anything else?[/quotr[/quote You pretty much covered it there but another is people can't stay still, which is a classic sign of people on ICE, The track mark comment can be deceiving as for Women there is 1 spot you wont even see, yes it is a dangerous spot but alot of Women do go there, plus with ICE it doesn't have to be injected as you would know anyhow, In 1998 in Perth they just about took every other powder off the street and flooded it with C.M. I wonder if they really knew what a huge fuck up they made, well they certainly know now as of the biggest epidemic of any DRUG we have seen in OZ..

Can I say as someone who lost a very close family member to this scourge That while many of the above may be true Many of you have met addicts and have had absolutely no idea

My son was hospitalized several months back and was treated for alcohol poisoning Now the booze may have covered other symptoms but if the health professionals can't tell How are we ? unless it is truly overt ?
He was a typical addict in that his personality altered he isolated friend and family Lied to get money But we honestly did not know it was drugs
He was always drinking either booze or sweet stuff anything sugary

Of course anything that helps detect this filth is good I'm just saying it's just not as clear cut as it appears in the written word

  • You feel strange when the drug wears off. You may be shaky, depressed, sick to your stomach, sweat, or have headaches. You may also be tired or not hungry. In severe cases, you could even be confused, have seizures, or run a fever.
  • My best friend was addicted to Methamphetamine and I helped her for a good couple of weeks to get her of the stuff, (not long enough by far) and her symptoms were the sweats, mood swings, tummy aches, throwing up and even if i went for a pee after she had been in the bathroom, it smelt really horrid.
  • She overdosed 3 years ago. I just could not help her and in the end, she did not want to be helped :(

Sad and such a loss; need to invent a drug that gives the high with no side affects, not addictive, and doesn't cost anything to make; oh, no looks like a cult! :( There are no winners in this space :(

I've had a few people close to me in the past who have become Ice addicts (most I've written off), one person in particular I was extremely close to for many years and it took me a while to figure out,,17 years later they still deny when they are using and I just laugh now, unfortunately we have to have contact for family reasons. I can spot it a mile away,,,I don't think it smells like washing powder seeping out their pores but it most definitely has it's own smell. Mannerisms and pupils are also are dead give away. It's sad. So many lives destroyed :(

Happy2 Sorry for your lose, but yes i do have alot of an idea, i have lost many friends and a few real close ones to drugs, seen alot of them change drugs to the ease of getting ICE, to me you can't miss someone that uses the shit, alcohol just goes hand in hand like some other drugs, pingers, acid etc, Yes it's real hard for family members to really get the picture, but it's just like people change and this drug is so easy to detect if you know someone especially, even if you don't they behavior is so erratic, I guess there are alot of signs but if you try to have a conversation with someone on it and if they can keep eye contact let alone keep up with the conversation then they are doing ok as most can't, there fucin scattered to put it politely.. We said along time back there won't be enough mental instututions and it's not far off.. There isn't no cure or replacement drug because it's synthetic shit, best they can come up with at this time is Ritlan, which is just a cop out anyhow.. So i don't know what the answer is but it is a problem that is growing everyday.. I heard some shit the other day there is 73k users of ice, maybe 73k out of every 150k would be more right, not sure who come up with that figure but that would be the biggest joke of all time..

Ice is the bane of all society. It's effects ruin lives and sadly those in the "dark" zone and pulls others who are vulnerable down with them. I really hope penalties become harsher for dealers and that the "vulnerable" people eventually realise they are being influenced by the wrong people, at the wrong time and no one gains but the seller and the sellers own selfish motives. There is nothing to gain by the buyer, other than anxiety, heartache and sadness. I hate the shit.

Crackwhores, rock cock, peddlers and the new bit coin of the block.
The commodity that is Rok.

Its something that most girls would have heard. Three points for a fuck.

Its hard enough out there as it is but when you hear those words "Do you trade" Well there goes 300 bucks.

Its rife out there. If only they could havev traded in alchohol or ciggies then all would be cool.

Its a problem that is not going to go away anytime soon. So Ill accept loss of income. After all it is a supply and demand thing.

I know a few people who use. And the users are not stereotypical . White collar to the crackwhore. And ive often had the discussion with them. Is the dealer peddling his whares the problem, or the friends that introduce their mates to it.

I've never been able to smell someone on ice that's not a thing. Visual tells yes but there definately is no smell. I always try everything once I don't see how you can talk about a subject without experiencing it.

I had it one time and the experience did not wow me to actually want to try it again. The high wasn't that great just wanting more, then the inability to sleep I don't get how people can like the drug. I always say you can never have a good time on ice, as opposed to say the lesser ones eg weed, alcohol.

Some people have addictive personalities and anyone who has a relative or friend who seems to have an addiction needs to act immediately. I hate when people give up on trying to help others they care about. The I had a friend line is great, you had a friend because you didn't try hard enough. I've had friends who been addicted and I've helped them at first notice of the issue. Don't judge them just help them out of it.

You can only help those who want help, otherwise you are beating your head against a brick wall. If they don't want help there is nothing you can do and you will become a victim of their drug abuse as well.
As for smell, there is most definitely a smell,, just like people who eat lots of dairy have a different smell, those who eat lots of garlic a different smell,,if you don't have the same smell yourself it is quite easy to pick up on.

It is a fine line I know. But you wouldn't give up on someone who says they continually want to kill themselves because of depression right? It's the same thing for addicts but I know what you mean, some people have to hit rock bottom before they notice they need help. And the farther they go down the harder it is to get straight.

What I find though is that alot of people try to help in a judgemental way. You wouldn't do that with other mental illnesses would you.

I wouldn't let myself or my children be harmed by someone with a mental illness either. And there is a difference, someone chooses to take drugs, people are born with mental illness..

Yes and kids born to crack addicts are born addicted and are behind the 8 ball even before life has begun, same as alcoholic mothers, mental illness's can be caused by work, living conditions, being in combat zones for prolonged time frames Eg PTSD job losses, car accidents, etc etc, "the opposite gender" too people get driven crazy by a partner loved one etc etc....

You have two offspring from the same parents one can smoke drugs or take party drugs now and again and can live a normal life, where as the other one gets addicted from day one, same with drinking, and I bet as you are a receptionist at LT's I bet you see the same men come in weekly to book working ladies that is a form of drug addiction for him so there are loads of forms of addictions, mental illness, and avenues that prey on the weak and vulnerable in society, and if people are born that way what can they do to change themselves? and I hate to this Prostitution is along side addictions too, hence why its called "hooking" ;)

Must try that.... maybe if you drink a lot of dairy as a man you end up dating cows... :) maybe I need to find a way to eat Carbon then my breath may smell of Diamonds.... :) ...
