How is everyone finding the holidays?

I don’t know if it’s just me but something is off this Christmas, it’s awfully quiet. Like thank god for my regulars. But I’ve never experienced a season like this in my many years in the industry.

Have a feeling it might be covid. People getting sick or just worn out.

There is this other thing called 'cost of living' which isn't going away.

So while I at times jokingly call this industry a necessity - this spending does actually fall a little below the food, housing, clothing, transport, etc that most funds get directed to first.

Combination of cost of living gone sky high in the last 12 months. Then Covid 19 raising it's ungly head again. Even I have been quite this last week. Greatful for a 2 hour appointment today. I'm facing $5000 worth of car repairs when I return home in the new year
