Hi all ,

the WL I have been seeing for last 12 months seems to have picked up a
stalker!
Unfortunately the stalker has found out who I am , my work place and home
address as well and I have been getting abusive calls telling me to keep away from her ... have also had 2 tyres spiked , one at work and 1 at home...have any of you had this kind problem?
Any advice would be helpful....

Do you or her know who it is?

Could get messy if you have a family!

No idea....I suspect it is somebody who lives in her street with a view of her house..reason being last time I went to visit...I got most of the way down her driveway and got a call on my mobile telling me in no uncretaion terms
to f off ... so I did .( I couldnt see any cars that were out of place) .Went back to work and three hours later my left front tyre had been slashed in the car park!

Has she said whether any of her other clients have been targeted?

You should go back and see if he calls again and this time don't leave or answer. Might be worth calling the cops?

unfortunately pretty easy to get my mobile once he found out where I work
all he had to do was get one of my business cards from girl at reception...one of the pitfalls of being in a customer service industry.
Unfortunately she is not talking to me at the moment or returning my calls.
I think she is annoyed that I won't see her until this is sorted.

Doesn't sound like a neighbour more likely a psycho ex or a love struck client...
Have had many a stalkers in my working life & the best bet you have is ignore them they are mostly out for shock factor...Just catch a cab to her house next time & call the police if he comes to your work babe? Hope that helps?? Problem is you can't rationalize with someone who's a head case..:violent5:

Thanks for that....is reassuring that you have had problems like this b4 so you know what you are talking about!.
Have you ever had one like this that tries to deter clients? Seems a bit
weird , but then as you say if he's a psycho I suppose it makes sense to attack clients instead of the service provider!
She dosn't seem too worried about it all but I have 3 kids to consider.
Cheers,

i will contact police if i was you because trust me it can became very very dangerous for you and the w/l so be careful and contact the police the sooner possible :police: xox

Do you know who this person is?? I would guess your lady might, even if she hasn't told you.

My advice is to get cameras and set this a-hole up. If u have no evidence there is nothing you can do. Especially if you don't know who it it.

Get some footage, find out who it is. Then u have options. But this isn't something to take lightly.

Otherwise, like Dylan said, try and not let it effect you life to much, if that's an option.

I have had them, but many years ago, before the word "stalker" was ever coined. I just ignored them and they went away, however I realise it would be naive and ignorant of me to suggest that that works in all cases. I do get "internet" or "cyber" stalkers though, which can be just as threatening, and I find if ignoring them doesen't work, I dish out to them whatever they are dishing out to me. That works.

.

I saw on aca that you can get car cameras for $300. I have trouble with "bullies" in my area so would love that camera if anyone has purchased one!

I would say that more than likely it is the w/l current or ex-boyfriend, who has somehow gotten the idea into his head that there is more going on than a professional relationship and is trying to keep you away from his girlfriend. If she is ignoring your calls and texts it would be in yours(and hers) best interest to find yourself another regular w/l. These guys are total pschycos and there is no reasoning with them. He most likely would have gotten your mobile number from her phone and was probably hiding somewhere watching for when you pulled into the driveway. This has the potential to become a very dangerous situation and i would advise you to to stay well away from it.

thanks all for your input and advice , it is greatly appreciated.
I saw her yesterday and she assures me it is not her current boyfriend (who
I have met several times) she claims that he likes me because he knows I treat her well and am her best client, however I am not so sure.
when I left her driveway the other day when I got the call I glanced back and saw his car pulling in .
She seems to think it may be the psycho ex of her girlfriend as her boyfriend and the girlfriend have also had tyres slashed in the last couple of weeks.
I have not had any problems since early last week , but have been keeping well away from her house and met her elsewhere.

Serial Tyre Slasher!! Scary stuff. I hope she finds out who it is.

Shit that sounds like serious nut-case stuff. The worst thing about people like that is that they are unpredictable and therefore dangerous. I think that goes pass the definition of stalker........he is obviously obsessed and that is a very unhealthy situation.
You guys take care and don't take it lightly.
