So what is it like Ladies when rostered on early its cold you dress warmly then you have to battle the cold in a uniform more suited to the beach on a hot day, Then to top it all off when you finally in bed again no fleecy pyjamas and warm blanket to snuggle under , must be worse than carting hay in the rain .

Not exactly the same but it was killer when I used to do the graveyard shift on reception in Perth. I lived inland and it took an hour and a half to get to work. Sometimes it was -4 when I got up to go to work
