Done that!,
was one of the most emotional eXperiences I have ever had.

I carry my grandfather's enlistment photos in my phone, he fought on Kokoda, I choose to remember daily.

I learnt more of his sacrifice through reading his archived war records as he never talked about the war or attended ANZAC Day.

I still have his canvas ground sheet for field stripping a bren gun. He kept a lot of his old kit in a steel footlocker in his garage.

Gratitude and Respect for all those that have served our Country.

Remembering those that paid the ultimate price and also those that bear the scars both physical and mental.
