Margaret river township is 20 minutes from the beach and no good places for fishing from land that I could find.

I don't think the pink lake in the pic has been pink for many years. Better MTB trails and rock climbing in maggot river. Hard to beat esperance beaches.

Have to agree about Esperance Beaches. If there are any better in the world I’m yet to see them.

Esperance is stunning! Remote and untouched. Margs has lost its shine but the south west still offers natural beauty if you don’t want to participate in the Western Suburbs Chardy crowd
