Depends on the level of professionalism you are looking for. No doubt anybody with a camera would be willing to show and film you, though you may want to ask to see samples of their work.
For any decent type of shots I would imagine that, as a minimum, the person you are looking for would have a halfway decent camera (either a 3CCD standard camera or almost any high-def camera), at least four lights (no, household lighting won't work, it won't look sexy - it'll just look grainy) and they should have a camera that uses memory cards.
The reason for the memory cards is that they allow you to supply the memory card, the videographer supplies the camera, lighting and expertise.
Alternatively, you can pick up a high-def camera relatively cheaply (Kogan brand are good and easy to use, come from Australia and will do 1080p for under $300 including postage) and just get a friend to help. For lighting, I suggest getting some of those cheap 500 watt work lights from bunnings. If you want to look slightly more professional, replace the standard bulbs with cool white bulbs (about $9 for a pair, also from bunnings).
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I can supply information and how-to's so that you can film yourselves (a nice tripod you can get off eBay from $20) or you can invite a friend/aquaintance over to hold the camera.
And if you really want the video to look great, you can get a Spiderbrace so that whoever is holding the camera can take rock-steady shoulder mounted shots (and avoid the nauseating shaky-cam effect most amatuer videos are plagued by).
