Hi, Im a 25yo female looking to create a 'private' website containing erotic/sensual photos and possibly a short video that's not too full on.

Any hints or tips would be appreciated - and reccomendations of a photographer.

would also be looking for another partner (or two) to be a part of it.

Hi Fergie, I can provide you with assistance with the website, setting up hosting, coding and such. There are a few traps and pitfalls to keep an eye out for and depending on your budget there are plenty of options available.

If you have a specific domain name that you want, I recommend registering it as soon as possible as domains are "first come, first served". However, you do not need to get hosting straight away as you can organise that after the fact.

Avoid the "buy hosting, get free domain" offers as usually the company offering keeps the domain and it can be difficult to get the domain from them if you want to host the site elsewhere. Actually, avoid anything that has "free" mentioned too often.

Despite being unpatriotic, I would suggest not hosting your site on an Australian server as Australian hosts are under more restrictive laws than other countries (and you usually get better bandwidth deals overseas).

Read the terms and conditions before you sign anything as many sites do not allow adult hosting. ExMasters.com are adult-site specific hosting and have a variety of options available but can be expensive if the site is not generating an income of some sort.

What you need to do first is sit down with a pen and paper and decide what the site needs to, what it does not need and what your expectations are so that you can set yourself up properly from the start.

Sorry Guys I have been out of email action for a week - thanks to work. Thanks for all your suggestions - i have to have 5 posts before I can PM any of you so I'm working on that at the moment.

Some more details for you all - I don't have a location at the moment so will be looking for one as part of this. Was hoping to do this more than once - ongoing even - and I will have a place within the next 2 months.

I've been in touch with some photographers and have an idea of what I want to produce which is a combination of me on my own, together with another girl, girl&guy, guy & guy - any combo really and then depending on how comfortable we all are a film of some sort.

I'll PM you as soon as I have posted enough.

thanks heaps for your advice - I have had a think about what you have said - I started this little exercise thinking I would just post my kinky photos on a simple website and grant access to only a select few - but the idea is now blossoming so I will be intouch with you both quite soon.

I'm actually a wedding, lifestyle photographer but would be interested in working on a *side* project like this. However I do wish to remain my anonymity online. PM me if your interested in collaborating together.
 
One more thing to be aware of - "adult" material (such as people posing nude) can be made anywhere, sexual stuff (such as you'd see in an R rated film) can be filmed in some place but the only location where it is legal to produce X rated material (such as showing penetration) is in the A.C.T. (wonder why? *wink*).

If the material being produced isn't being paid for is irrelevant, but if you are indoors with no identifyting features (such as not at a hotel) then you can claim otherwise. Odds are low that anything (such as legal action) would eventuate, but it is something to be aware of.

I have many costumes available. Skirt sets, burlesque outfits, leather and pvc, I can also source costumes for you and I am willing to give discount to anybody in the industry. If you have any specific requirements i.e nurse outfits let me know. I recently did a short film for a friend in Melbourne.I do small to plus size. To be honest the plus size stuff costs more so if your models are sizes 8 - 12 the costumes are easier to get and cheaper to. I also can get Glass stripper shoes and accessories like angel wings etc. None of this is on my website because originally I was doing party plan for at home mums and gals and didn't want to scare them off ;) but I have a bunch of other stuff.
